Meal for 2 people - 15 minutes to prep and make
If you're worried about calories eat a smaller portion and make a side salad
Optional side salad of anything fresh and crispy
Things you'll need to cook this meal:
Sauce pan
Wooden spoon
Tray for the oven (or tin foil to sit your garlic bread on)
Colander
Frying pan
Weighing scales (or if you haven't guestimate)
Measuring jug (or a cup)
Mushrooms 8 loose closed cup or any you fancy using - if you really like mushrooms use 10-12
Bacon - any that takes your fancy but streaky is always good for crisping up
Philladelphia cheese - 2 heaped tablespoons
50ml veggie stock
Ground black pepper (optional) but good to season your food
NO SALT NEEDED
Method
Fry the bacon and set aside when crispy
Boiling water in the saucepan and add tagliatelle, stir to separate the swirls and it won''t stick together
At the same time place your garlic bread in the oven (frozen usually takes 10 minutes)
With five minutes before the pasta and garlic bread are ready heat up your frying pan again and add the mushrooms. When they have shrunk and are soft add the philly cheese and the stock and stir to create a creamy sauce.
When the pasta and garlic bread are ready drain the pasta and plate up, put garlic bread in a bowl or on a plate, pour over your sauce then chop your bacon and sprinkle over the top.
You can add some ground black pepper to season
THIS IS A VERY QUICK, EASY AND VERY TASTY MEAL
