breakfast to keep away hunger

Having eaten this for breakfast I managed to get right the way through to 12.30pm without needing to snack at all, and I get massive snack attacks.

Porridge with bananas, honey and hazlenuts

I know making porridge is straight forward and doesn't really need a recipe but I came across a recipe for this in a magazine.  It got me thinking about the porridge I usually have, porridge with a blob of jam and milk to cool. Bit boring so I gave the recipe a go.
Make up the porridge amounts according to the pack (1 cup of oats to 1 and 1/2 cups of milk usually feeds 2), add a really good squeeze of runny honey and 2 banana chopped into big chunks.
Throw all into a saucepan, bring to the boil stirring often and then simmer for a couple of minutes.
Pour into bowl and throw on some chopped hazlenuts.

I also tried this with strawberries on the top just to get more fruit into my system. Lovely
