Pressie from parents

Any parents thinking of buying a little pressie on their next visit to son/daughter in halls or house might think of taking a gift that will help out with many, many meals to come.

This little corker has produced since June about 11 chillies that have either been used in my meals or put into the freezer ready for the next hot meal.

This plant cost £3.99 from Sainsburys and was a great buy for the kitchen

  2. Hi Beckie, I use the chillies from my plant for chilli con carni, my homemade tapenade, cutting up onto my steamed salmon, all sorts of things. If it needs a hot kick to the meal just one chilli will do the job.

I freeze them so that when I have a meal to use them in they are as fresh as when they were picked.

Someone suggested I try them on hot chocolate!

    Thanks for looking in.
